Green Carts are mobile food carts that offer fresh produce in New York City neighborhoods with limited access to healthy foods. A Green Cart only sells fresh fruits and vegetables.
The NYC Green Cart Fresh Food Pack series is an initiative of the Laurie M. Tisch Illumination Fund in collaboration with the James Beard Foundation. They are packed full of tips, recipes and information to provide people living in underserved communities with the tools they need to buy, cook and eat healthier meals.
