On Sunday, June 28th, God’s Love We Deliver will march and dance down 5th Avenue in the 2015 Heritage of Pride March! Please look for us and our float as we celebrate 30 years of Pride and 30 years of serving our community. With your support, we continue to deliver nutritious food to people, and 40 other AIDS-services organizations in creating an HIV-free future for our community. In celebration of Joan Rivers’ years of commitment to the agency, this year’s Pride has been designed in her honor, Joan, Forever in our Hearts.
July 21 at 6:30 p.m., Tasty Tuesday: Cooking with Summer Veggies
Greenmarket goers: Are you all too familiar with wandering the farm stands only to buy carrots and find yourself dipping them in hummus, or roasting them…again? This Tasting Tuesday, brought to you by Parker Red and Brooklyn Grange, is all about learning new and simple techniques for transforming your fresh market finds into delicious summer dishes. We’ll start with a tasting tour of Brooklyn Grange’s Navy Yard Farm and harvest a few samples fresh from the farm and wind up whipping up delicious dishes with the chef of Parker Red to enjoy together. You’ll take home a jar of fresh pickles to snack on… and inspire you to keep cooking.

On June 24th at 7 p.m., join chef and health journalist Candice Kumai, “one of the most recognizable names in clean eating” (Prevention Magazine) at the 92nd Street Y, as she discusses how you can effortlessly live a cleaner, greener lifestyle. Joining Candice are ‘clean, green’ experts; nutritionist, Keri Glassman, green makeup artist, Kristen Arnett and celebrity trainer, Natalie Uhling, who will discuss what steps you can take to feel and look better right now!
